Great except for very short battery life August 10, 2009olderman (Chapel Hill, NC United States)
I received this laptop on a Thursday. All was well until I noticed that the battery seemed to be draining quickly. I then tested the batter life 3 times under light duty (surfing only) and the best I could come up with was 92 minutes. I called Asus and they offered to replace the battery after they agreed that it should be better. I then called Amazon and they told me to return it as DOA and would give me a full refund. I returned it to Amazon that following Tuesday. Amazon sent me an e-mail on Friday letting me know that they received the return and had credited back the full amount to my Account.
If I had been rating Amazon it would be 5 stars. I got through immediately and it took less that 5 minutes to make a decision. Wow.. I am looking to replace this purchase and no doubt it will be with Amazon.
