This is an Athearn N Scale Undecorated EMD F45 Locomotive. It is the DC Version! It measures approx. 4.75" long and has the following features: 5-pole skewed armature motor with brass flywheels, All-wheel drive and electrical pick-up, Cab interior, Detailed multi-piece fuel tanks, Wire grab irons, Photo-etched non-skid endwalks, Flush mounted individual window 'glass' and McHenry knuckle spring coupler installed. It is also DCC upgradable - there is space for an aftermarket DCC board and speaker.
