Woks great except that the scroll wheel stops scrolling down. It happened also in other two mighty mouses I have, so I guess it's a design defect.

I was going to rate this a little higher, but how can I give anything more than 2 stars to something with such a chronic issue. I have had 3 of these over the past few years and all of them had a dysfunctional track ball within weeks. Too often I let a bit of my Apple Fanboyism seep in and blind me to the stunningly inept trackball design. The mouse as a whole works beautifully, but don't even consider purchasing it.

Lousy product. May or may not work on any given day. "Connection Lost" is a constant reminder on the screen that this thing is not wonderful.

The Apple wireless mouse is very easy to use and has some nice features. Only 2 negatives: sometimes it is not seen by bluetooth on start-up & the mouse ball gets dirty and is impossible to clean without major dismantling.
Bad scrolling and uncomfotable April 17, 2010

The scroll ball stopped working properly after a little while. Several websites have tips for cleaning it, but I've had no success so far. Basically I can scroll up and sideways with the mouse, but for scrolling down I have to resort to the keyboard. Every now and then I also have trouble moving the mouse on screen. It just moves slowly regardless of my settings. As this seems to be fixed by restarting, this may actually be a problem with Mac OS and not the mouse.
The mouse appeals to me aesthetically, and as such is good for my use in a media center Mac Mini. It is not the most ergonomic device however, so I would not recommend this to anyone who needs to use the mouse often. It's more of a decoration than a tool.
