When the battery starts running low, you'll know instantly, thanks to the indicator light on the three-line, backlit LCD screen on the handset. A digital duplex speakerphone is also built in, permitting hands-free calls with none of the annoying echoes of earlier speakerphone models.
The base incorporates a digital answering system with 15 minutes of message recording time; flexible message maximums can be adjusted from one to four minutes. Simple controls allow you to listen, save, and delete messages easily. You'll have full remote access, complete with toll saver, which prevents long distance charges from accruing when you dial in from across the country and there are no messages.
